Gladys Laporte Rodriguez
Dear Kuka and family,
My deepest sympathies for the loss of your beloved father Celestino (Tino). Although this is a very sad day, I’m forever grateful that I was able to visit with Tío Tino on June 12, 2025–during my visit to Florida from Pennsylvania.
Tío was my mother Rafaela’s sole surviving sibling. She (Rafaela) was the youngest of the five siblings.
I have uploaded two pictures showing all the siblings and one of me with Tío.
Although, I miss them all so very much, the five siblings all lived a long life and gave us many LaPorte and Suliveras generations and now they have reunited in God’s holy grace.
I love each of you Tío Tino, Tío Jose, Tía Mary, and mommy very much. I will forever miss your laughter, hugs, guitar playing, singing, dancing, delicious meals we shared, the many memories close and dear to my heart, and most of all, your deep love for your families and your deep faith in God. This generation may be gone, but will never be forgotten!!
Long live the LaPorte & Suliveras family name!
Respectfully your niece,
Gladys LaPorte Rodriguez
