Always the sweetest & most generous of regulars I had. She could ALWAYS make me laugh, even on the worst day. She gave me such great advice and was such a strong woman, always standing up for her beliefs and encouraging my dreams. She was so intelligent, a feminist, a humanitarian, an activist, and she really rooted for me. She loved to do the New York Times crossword and she really didn’t take any shit from anyone. What a woman. I knew her in passing for a very short time in my life and yet she made a lasting impression. Rest In Peace. My love and light to Jay
I am so very sorry to hear this news as Cathy was such a dear friend and spirit! Her laugh and memory will never be forgotten by me. My love and sincerest condolences to Jay and her family.
