Catherine Robert,75 of St. Petersburg. A seamstress and faithful volunteer died on Monday, August 6, 2007. Ms. Robert was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 8, 1932. Ms Robert is preceded in death by her husband Joseph R. Robert, Sr. She is survived by 3 brothers: John Walsh (NY), Charles Walsh (NY), and James Walsh (NY); 1 sister: Patricia Yarbrough (Washington State); 4 children: Joseph Robert, Jr. (Delaware), Catherine Olivier (Louisiana), Patricia McCreary (Virginia), and John Robert (Washington State); 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 3 step great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn a host of other relatives and friends. Ms. Robert was awarded 'Volunteer of the Year' as a Cub Scout Leader, Girl Scout Leader, Girl Scout Troop Organizer for Waianae Midway & Wake Island, Trash & Trivia Worker Barbers Point, Red Cross Swimming Aide for Mentally Handicapped Children (Grand Prairie, TX), CCD Instructor for Children (Barbers Point), Altar Society - Church Accountant (Barbers Point), Truant Officer for Campbell High (Ewa Beach), Bingo Caller for Deaf Service Center - Knights of Columbus Senior Center - Sacred Heart; Kaycette Knights of Columbus Worker (Texas, Hawaii, & Florida).
