Oh, dear Carolyn! How we miss you. You were such a integral part of my growing up. Lindy and I in our "blow-up slips", at the age of 3, trying to see who's Sunday dress could stand out the furthest. The kindness and interest you showed in the youth at Lake Maggorie Baptist Church was the absolute best! We always knew we had leaders we could count on and adults to steer us in the right direction. If I never thanked you for that, I do now. I so miss our chats on Sunday afternoons and meeting you and Lindy at Gigi's on a Friday night for spaghetti. I remember typing your family's history on hundreds of pages and sharing stories of your family. What a special time that was for me.
You and Milton raised a beautiful daughter, my life-long friend, and I will always be grateful for your friendship and your love. Prayers for Lindy and Denny as they continue to move through this difficult time. I was blessed to be there at the end to help Lindy with your beautiful arrangements. I will always remember Mrs. Fulghum as my good friend’s kind, sweet and loving mom .As the years went by she would always ask about me and my family, showing sincere interest in my children and concern about our disabled daughter, Sarah. I know she will be missed but certainly with Lindy, Denny, family and friends always....thinking of you 💕
Carolyn was a special,lady. She will be missed. We enjoyed those times we went to dinner with Carolyn. She thought of my husband as a son and he was grateful for her moral support and so was I. We love you Carolyn and will see you in heaven.

After I retired, my sister Barbara, my cousin Joyce, and myself loved to take Aunt Carolyn and Aunt Dot out for lunch...we enjoyed the company and food, but the memories these ladies shared with us was amazing!! Talk about fun and games,clothes and old boy friends!! What a life they had.... now both are gone, but what we shared is priceless......Aunt Carolyn was the last of her generation with Fulghums....She will be missed, but we were lucky to have her for those 96 years!! I remember "Mrs. Fulghum" from many years ago when Lindy and I grew up together. She was always a sweet and kind Mom. In our younger years, Lindy and I spent many special times together as friends, school mates, and camping and fishing buddies. I am very sad to hear about your Mom. My thoughts are with Lindy during this time of loss.

I can think of so many beautiful memories of Aunt Carolyn, but two of my favorites were the days she first met our Sophia, and our Mark. The way she looked at them as she held held them in her loving arms. It was pure love. She was always so proud of our entire family. We always knew we were deeply, and unconditionally loved. That love will stay with me always. Just as as our love for her will go on eternally.❤️
