Carolyn B. Coram's Obituary
Carolyn Baldock Coram was welcomed home by her Heavenly Father on May 16, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in 1946 in Charleston, West Virginia to Raymond and Opal Baldock, and relocated to Seminole Florida with her husband Frank in 1970. Carolyn was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Carolyn’s life was defined by her love for her children and grandchildren. After losing her husband suddenly in 1983 Carolyn dedicated her life to raising her boys, Christopher and Scott.
Carolyn loved spending time in the kitchen creating delicious meals for her family. Neighborhood children would frequently gather around the kitchen table for after-school cookies, a tradition that would later carry on with her 4 loving grandchildren. Carolyn was a dedicated math teacher for 38 years and finished her career at Seminole Middle School, where she was head of the Math Department. On weekends she spent time taking her boys to soccer games and spending time with friends. In retirement, she enjoyed being with her grandchildren and playing Bridge at the St. Pete Bridge Club with close friends.
Carolyn is survived by her children and their spouses: Chris and Shannon, and Scott and Christine. Her grandchildren include grandsons Aidan, Parker, Brooks and Cole. She also is survived by her sister Peg’s children; Michael, Russ, and Kim and their spouses, Patty, Paige and Joe, and her great-nephews – Adam, Ryder, Diana, David, John, and Kristy.
Family and friends of the Coram’s are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service for Carolyn, which will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home 5750 49th Street N. St. Petersburg, Florida 33709 on May 22, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. for a viewing and 11:00am service.
