Caridad Ricardina Piedra's Obituary
Piedra, Caridad Ricardina, 82, born February 7th, 1934 in Havana, Cuba, passed away peacefully February 13th, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Israel Piedra and son Eduardo Piedra. She is survived by her daughter Gisel Racosky (Keith); sons Lazaro Piedra (Susan), Alejandro Piedra (Cheryl), Diosdado (Papo) Piedra and daughter-in-law Cheryl Piedra; grandchildren Lil’ Eddie, Scott, Shane, Lil’ Laz, Christina, Chad, Felicia, Jana, Chris, Alex and great-grandchildren Alea, Jaydon, Jaxon, Talon, Bryce, Dayton, Kayden, Alyssa and Nialyne. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and her sister-in-law whom she considered her sister, Edilia Aquino.
She was a great mother that raised 5 children on her own. She loved sewing, gardening and walking but her children believed cooking was her best asset. A service is being held at Memorial Park Cemetery on Saturday, March 19th, 2016 at 2pm. Gathering to celebrate Mom’s life will be held at Gisel Racosky’s house from 5-9pm, 8821 91st Street in Largo.
