Mr. Byron Hoon's Obituary
Byron Hoon of St Petersburg, Florida, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020 in Bardmoor Oaks Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center of Largo, Florida. He was 83.
Byron was born Wednesday, November 4, 1936 in Bethesda, Maryland; one of eight children of the late Anson and June Hoon. He retired as a cook after 13 years of proudly serving in the United States Air Force.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Miyo Hoon (2017); his daughter, Sandra June Hoon (1965) and his son, Anson Hoon (1994). He is also preceded in death by three brothers, Dan Hoon, Wayne Hoon, and Edgar Hoon and a sister, Marjorie Fiedler.
Byron is survived by his sisters, Priscilla Hoon of Pinellas Park and Nancy Lander of Gulfport and a brother, Walter Hoon of Lodi, Wisconsin. He is also the loving grandfather of two grandchildren; Jason Hoon and Altaira Hoon of Thornton, New Hampshire.
Final funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced here when finalized. Memorial Park Funeral Home 5750 49th Street North, St Petersburg, Florida 33709 is serving the family.
