"Bunny" Winifred S. Trundley's Obituary
“Bunny” Winifred S. Trundley of Largo Florida passed peacefully on 10-21-21 at 99 and 1/2 years old. Bunny was born in Needham Massachusetts to Beulah & Theodore Parker.
She was married to Fredrick Swenson in 1940 and was the proud mother of 7 beautiful children: Carole Patterson, Karen Lane, Christine Montgomery, Fredrick Swenson, Jennifer Schaffer, Susan Lane and Debra Spaeth. In 1954 the family moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, where she worked at GE for 35 years.
In 1972 she married John “Clifford” Trundley and together they raised his 11 year old daughter Patricia Houlihan.
Bunny was a strong independent woman who loved bowling, camping, boating, traveling, and baking.
Christmas was her favorite time of year and she would decorate the most beautiful tree, dance to Christmas music as she baked for her family.
She has 8 children, 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren. We will never forget your famous cookies.
The service will be on Saturday December 4 @ Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5750 49th Street North, St. Petersburg, FL 33709, (727) 369-8228. Family & friends are encouraged to gather at 10:30am for coffee and refreshments, the service will begin promptly at 11am with the internment to follow after the service.
