I first met Brian when as a visually blind vendor I delivered soda and snacks to post offices in Pinellas county. He was the supervisor at the South Anex post office in South St. Pete at the time. He was one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet. We talked about his health issues in regards to diabetes, and how it could effect the eyes. Little did I know then that long after I moved on to a different facility bid we would meet up again. Brian became legally blind from this terrible disease, and being such a optimist, he decided he would try his hand at being a Randolph Sheppard Vendor of Florida. I would see him at various meetings and seminars through the years. He never felt sorry for himself. He wasn't bitter at the lost of his sight, and how his health was declining. He just lived life the best way he knew how. To his family, and those who knew him best, I would just like to say that remembering all the happy times you had with him will keep him alive in your heart always: and honor his memory the best. May he enjoy his new Heavenly home and the freedom of a bran new body free from illness. We will meet again some day I hope and pray.
With deepest sympathy,
Kathleen Warth
