Mr. Brett Douglas Sellers' Obituary
Brett Douglas Sellers, born January 10, 1968, age 43, was called home by his heavenly father on February 16, 2011 and greeted at the gates by his earthly father (Douglas Sellers) and grandparents (Matthew and Ruth Jeffes). He leaves to carry on his legacy: five children; Joshua, Shawnna, Ezekiel, Isabella, Autumn, and his best friend of eighteen years, wife, Gisela, mother, Sue Jeffes, siblings: sister: Bridget (Dominic) Foster, nephews: Quinton and Maverick; sister: Dana (Michael) Witkin, nieces Mishka and Katya, brother: Mike (Tracy) Mixon, niece Alexis and nephew Chip, grandparents, Virgil and Fern Sellers; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and too many friends to count. A Hebrew Christian burial will be at 10:00 am on Monday, February 21, 2011 at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Largo, FL with Rabbi Curtis Taylor and Reverend Tim Suddreth. Memorial service will be at 12 noon at Suncoast Cathedral in St. Petersburg, FL. following the burial. A memorial service will also be held at Swartz Funeral Home in Flint, MI with arrangements to be announced later. In lieu of flowers, the family is establishing a trust fund for his three young children, Ezekiel, Isabella, and Autumn at Bank of America. He strived every day to live the life of Messiah, just showing pure love. We will miss his infectious smile, his one-of-a-kind laugh, and his ability to find humor in any situation. What a great man you were! "Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the Kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the Kingdom of heaven". Matthew 5:19.
