My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. An amazing young man gone way too soon. May God comfort each and every one of the family.
I have many memories of this wild and crazy young man that I babysat so many years ago! He was quite the jokester then and would often leave Lynsey and me crying from laughter. That summer was filled with making whirlpools in the swimming pool, playing basketball games, chasing horses, and jumping on the trampoline with the sprinkler turned on. Even as a young boy he had the biggest heart and loved "his people" very intensely. Little did I know that this little boy that stole my heart back then would end up my step-brother. His surprise visit a few weeks ago was wonderful. I was so thankful to see him and be able to give him a big bear hug! He cheered my girls on at their basketball game and as always, cheered on the underdog players with that big heart of his!
I wish that we could be there today, but a positive Covid test has us at home. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone that is mourning this loss. We will continue to pray for peace and comfort during this difficult time and the many days to come.
