Mrs. Brenda "Bennie" Mullins' Obituary
Brenda “Bennie” Mullins, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018 in St. Anthony’s Hospital. She was 76.
Bennie was born April 6, 1942 in Knoxville, Tennessee; the beloved daughter of the late James P and Kathryn Brown. She worked in the administrative / clerical areas with Beider and Company. In addition to her career in the financial world, she also worked as an administrative / clerical assistant at Tyrone Middle School of St. Petersburg, Florida.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48+ years, Billy B. Mullins (2014) and her brother Tony Brown (2013). Bennie is survived by her two daughters, Toni Staker and Teri Ros and three step-children; Dona Hofmeyer, Randy Mullins and Norma Carpenter. She is the dear sister of Libby Faulkner and sister-in-law of Janice Brown. Bennie is the loving grandmother of nine grandchildren; Ryan Mullins, Henry Ros, Katy Staker, Sam Stephens, Tara Laney, Daniel Mullins, Brian Mullins, Erik Hofmeyer and Mark Hofmeyer. She also leaves behind four great grandchildren; Gabi Mullins, Greta Hofmeyer, Aksel Hofmeyer and Teddy Hofmeyer.
Memorial service will be held 5:00 pm, Sunday, August 12, 2018 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home 5750 49th St. N, St. Petersburg, Florida 33709. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Billy, in the Garden of Honor section of Memorial Park Cemetery.
