Bonnie Anne Bowers' Obituary
Bonnie Anne Bowers, 81, of St. Petersburg, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025. She was born in Gardiner, Maine to Joseph and Emily (nee Frost) Chalker. She attended St. Petersburg Senior High School and St. Petersburg Junior College. Bonnie worked at VRN and General Electric which later became Martin Marretta. She married Duane V. Bowers on July 2, 1965. Duane passed away in 2022. She was also preceded in death by daughters Jennifer Lynn and Rachel Marie. Bonnie will be remembered by her daughters Elizabeth Maroney and Heather Vazquez and grandchildren Breanna Velez, Luis Vazquez, Lola Jimenez and Keegan Jimenez. Bonnie will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking, gardening and an avid reader. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Empath Health / Suncoast Hospice in Bonnie's memory.
