Blanche "Elaine" Deloge's Obituary
Blanche “Elaine” Deloge of Pinellas Park died peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at the age of 87. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Elaine is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Deloge. She is survived by her children - Thomas Budd, Janet LeVai, Lynne Murphy, Sandra Murdock, Susan Pollard, and grandchildren – Kelly, Laura, Nicole, Blaise, and Brettany. She will be missed for her sense of humor, quick wit, fondness for singing, a kind spirit and love for her family and friends.
She was born and raised in East Rutherford, NJ and lived in Connecticut for many years. She moved to Florida with her husband Robert in 1974 and settled in Pinellas Park, FL.
Elaine had a lengthy career as a Certified Nurse’s Aide (CNA) and worked in local assisted living and nursing homes and rehabilitation facilities to provide care for people in need. She worked until the age of 70, and then began an active retirement filled with an abundance of social activities with friends and family. Her favorite place locally was Franks, who always had a chair for her waiting. Mom loved to travel, and especially enjoyed travelling to warm locations with family and even more so when casinos were involved.
Please join Elaine’s family and friends at the Celebration of Life services listed below. In honor of Mom’s love of vacations to sunny destinations, the service attire will be casual. We encourage everyone to wear something tropical and/or fitting of a trip to your favorite destination.
