Mrs Betty J. Roberts' Obituary
Betty J. Roberts, 80, of Paden City, WV, formally of St. Petersburg passed away on October 20, 2015 at home under Hospice Care. She was born on January 30, 1935 in Marietta, OH to the late Clarence P. Carpenter and Francis Carpenter. She was married for over 51 years to the late Richard A. Roberts Sr. She retired from the Pinellas County Tax Collector in 1997. She was very active in her church. Family and friends were her passion and delight and she was ever faithful in sending cards to family and friends. She is survived by a daughter Vera L. Allen (Richard) of Paden City WV, sons Richard A. Roberts Jr. and Randal A. Roberts both of St. Petersburg, son-in-law Earl Hoskins of Friendly WV, 17 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son Ronald A. Roberts, a daughter Vickie L. Roberts Hoskins, sisters Thelma Black, Frankie Hupp and Sue Carpenter, brothers George Carpenter and Clarence Carpenter and a granddaughter Tammy J. Roberts. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Richard Hooks III, TJ Baker, Dan Schruk and Hospice for their special care.
