Betty Lou Pridham's Obituary
Betty Lou Pridham, April 13, 1927 - December 10, 2010. Resident of Kenneth City, FL and was born and raised in St. Petersburg, FL. Betty passed away at St. Petersburg General Hospital after suffering a massive stroke. She was one of three children born to the late Lowell R. Ferdon and Anita Mae Humphries, and sister to the late Eleanor Garwood. Betty will forever be remembered by her loving brother Carl Ferdon, beloved daughter Barbara Farland, sons James Weston and Thomas Pridham, adored grandchildren Denise Smith and Brooke Farland, treasured great-grandchild Avery Smith, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her. Betty loved traveling, painting, collecting, running her flea market shop, gardening, watching sports and spending time with family, friends and her cat Misty. Betty touched the lives of many people with her continuous smile and generosity, and maintained her zest for life all the way until the end. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial gathering, Friday, December 17, 2010 from 11:00am to 1:00pm, followed by a short service at 1:00pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5750 49th St. North, St. Petersburg, FL 33709. As an alternative to flowers, the family requests all donations be made to the Suncoast Hospice, who took such wonderful care of her mother, Anita, during her final days. Simply note on the memo line of your check (or an attached note) that your gift is "in memory" or "in honor" of Betty Pridham.
