Betty Jane Adkins Owens, 75, went to be with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 2:43 AM. She was born in Mims, Florida but grew up in Brevard County Florida. At 16 years of age she married the love of her life Roger Glen Owens Sr. who was 19 at the time, and remained married to him until the day she died. Although she grew up in Brevard County, Florida she lived the majority of her life in St. Petersburg Florida. She was predeceased by both of her parents, her five siblings her being the youngest of the six children and Her grandson, Jeffrey Haas. Survived by her husband Roger Glen Owens Sr., 4 children Renée (Steven) Bland, Carmen (Steve) Haas, Glen (Samantha) Owens and Tiffany Owens, also by 6 Grandchildren Brian & Jennifer Haas, Jason (Mandie) Scurlock, Danielle (Federico) Gomez, Meghan & Harrison Bland, 9 great-Grandchildren and numerous Nieces and Nephews. Betty was a Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Aunt. Betty was a woman of God who always encouraged her family and others to serve the Lord.
