Betty Jane Goldman
April 9, 1927 – November 2, 2018
Betty Goldman, 91 of St. Petersburg, Florida passed peacefully in her sleep November 2, 2018. Betty was born in Monroe City, Indiana on April 9, 1927. She is survived by her children: Linda and Larry, Grandchildren: Chris, Clayton, Stacy and Kelly, and Great Grandchildren: Caleb, Eli, Seth, Hannah, Aubrie, Ruby and Connor.
Betty was predeceased by her loving Husband of almost 60 years, Ralph Goldman in 2005. She completed an Interior Decoration Course from Vincennes University and was a Graduate of the Indiana Business College. Betty worked as a secretary in the Insurance Industry. Betty and Ralph retired to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1975.
She loved her family, enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing and dancing. She was also very artistic and several of the Grandchildren have inherited that talent. She especially enjoyed her time with the younger generation and delighted in all the adventures they would share with her. She will continue to live in the hearts of her family and friends, who hold so many treasured memories.
A celebration of Life will be held at 1PM on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the Memorial Park Funeral Home (5750 49th St. N., St Petersburg, Florida 33709). Visitation will be on Friday, November 16, 2018 from 4 PM. to 6 PM.
Donations can be made in Memory of Betty Goldman to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation or American Heart Association.
