Mrs Betty Jean Eller's Obituary
Betty Jean Eller of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Apollo Health and Rehabilitation Center, St. Petersburg. She was 88.
Betty was born April 12, 1930 in Pass A Grille Beach, Florida; the daughter of the late Harry and Lucy Johnson. She retired from Bayfront Health as a Nurse Staffing Agent.
Betty was a long-time member of the Northside Baptist Church of St. Petersburg and was an active member of the “Golden Heirs” at the church. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 63+ years, Floyd (2015); their daughter, Judy (1984); a brother, Donald and her sister, Dottie. Betty is survived by her loving son, Joseph Eller. She is the grandmother of two granddaughters, Melinda Eller and Lori Nichols and the great grandmother of two great granddaughters, Emily Hayburg and Michelle Hayburg. Betty is also survived by her brother, Richard Hitt.
Memorial services will be held 11:30 am, June 7, 2018 in the East Hall at the Northside Baptist Church 6000 38th Ave., St Petersburg, FL 33710. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Northside Baptist Church Children’s Ministry 6000 38th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33710.
