I knew from the moment I saw Big Ben moving in next door, we would be great friends and neighbors. He was wearing a Cubs t-shirt. I'll never forget my first words to him. I said "We are going to get along great being that you're a Cubs fan!" To which he said "This shirt is from a team my son Benjamin played on in little league". We both laughed! I know he's a Florida fan through and through, and I was 100% ok with that. It did so happen to turn out that our families became very close very quick. Our middle daughters born only 4 days apart and the three of our younger children all within two years of each other. It was a Godsend that Tiffiny, Big Ben, Benjamin, Chelsea, and Delaney became our next door neighbors. We looked out for each other (as most of us did in Jungle Terrace). Ben and I had the luxury of being stay at home parents and there were a lot of times we teamed together to get our children from school, help with an ingredient for a meal, or be excited for any new furry family member that was brought home! We are all animal lovers and of course adore our children. We often chatted everyday. I miss that feeling of community. We have since moved to Wesley Chapel, BUT they'll ALWAYS be our FRIENDS and NEIGHBORS! There are no words to completely put Ben's family and friends at ease or bring them 100% comfort. Ben was a wonderful, loving, and doting man. He protected his family with love and vigor. He will always be in our hearts and prayers. We know he is with his son doing all they used to do together here on earth in heaven. May god bless each and every one of his family and friends. Please know no matter how far, we are always here for all of you... We will never forget. Much love, peace, and comfort to all.
