Benjamin S. Magno, Sr.'s Obituary
BENJAMIN S. MAGNO, Sr., 73, of Pinellas Park, passed away October 25, 2015. Born in Paombong, Bulacan of the Philippines on December 16, 1941 to Lazaro S. and Leonarda Magno. Benjamin had a passion for cooking and was well-known for his famous egg rolls and fried wontons. He shared his talent while serving as a cook for the U.S. Coast Guard. Predeceased by his first wife, Christen, Benjamin was fortunate to find love a second time, marrying his surviving wife, Dori. Also survived by his children, Benjamin Jr., Lazaro Sr., Narda, Chrissy and Mina, as well as nine grandchildren. Benjamin will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home, Saturday, October 31 from 10 a.m. to
12 noon followed by a chapel service. Interment will be led by a horse-drawn caisson immediately following the service. A reception will follow at the VFW Post 4364, 5773 62nd St N, Saint Petersburg, FL.
