Mr. Benjamin "Duke" Creamer Jr.'s Obituary
Benjamin F. “Duke” Creamer, Jr, of S Pasadena, FL, passed Saturday, February 16, 2019 at The Springs of Boca Ciega Bay. He was 83.
Duke was born July 25, 1935 in Pitman, NJ; the beloved son of the late Franklin and Lillian Creamer. In 1953, he entered active military duty with the U S Navy proudly serving aboard the USS Randolph as a gasoline engineman – Petty Officer 3rd Class. He was honorably discharged from the Navy on January 29, 1957. Duke worked as a contract administrator in the construction business. He was an active member of the American Legion Post #273 – Madeira Beach, FL.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35+ years, Carol Creamer; his son, Craig Creamer; a daughter, Dawn Creamer-Smith and his brother David Creamer.
Visitation will be 11am – 11:30am followed by funeral services at 11:30am Friday, February 22, 2019 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home 5750 49th Street N, St. Petersburg, FL 33709. Immediately following the funeral service, family and friends will recess to the Memorial Park Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with US Navy honors.
