Ms. Benita Matos' Obituary
Matos, Benita 85 of St. Petersburg passed away on Wednesday April 13, 2016. She was born on May 6, 1930 in Barahona, Dominican Republic to Antonio Matos and Anna Francisca Molina Matos. She had a love for life. She was sassy, a family woman, best mom and grandmother. As far as her Christian values, no one left her home hungry and she did sewing for others. Survivors include her children, Monica Melendez, Daysi Tavarez, Frank Tavarez and Clara Tavarez; four sisters; three brothers; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A viewing will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Sunday, April 17th from 10am-12pm with a service at 12pm followed by a committal service at Sylvan Abbey Cemetery.
