Beatrice M. Southworth's Obituary
Southworth, Beatrice M., 82, of Largo, died Tuesday 11/13/07 at Pinecrest Place. Born in Buffalo, NY she was a daughter of the late Leslie and Marie Ernest. She taught nursing for many years at Miami-Dade Community College, as well as Muhlenberg Hospital School of Nursing in Plainfield, NJ. She was an associate professor at Miami-Dade Community College and received a Meritorious Service Award from the college from 1970-1980. She enjoyed painting oils and water colors, handwork such as cross-stitching, traveling, she was an ardent card and game player, spending time with an extended family. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Marylyn E. and Ronald Straight; two nieces, Sharron Hallen, Carolyn Mazzucco; and two nephews, Roger and Richard Straight.
