Uncle Ballard was a remarkable uncle. He was always so welcoming when we came to visit. I could not keep up with him, he had so much energy! The rejoicing in heaven is great as Uncle Ballard joins his family members who have gone before him. The sorrow I feel is for those of us left behind who will miss him dearly!
My thoughts and prayers are with you all!
So sorry to hear of Uncle Ballard
Passing away. He was always my
favorite Uncle. When he was able to
visit up here, he always came by to see
us. If we were not at home when he came,
he could keep coming till he caught us
at home. I'll never forget when I was
real small and they lived at Gravel Lick,
he and Uncle Ralph took me and my
brothers "possum huntin" and he carried
me half the night. You have our deepest
sympathy. God bless all of you
SHIRLEY-GALE AND FAMILY. SO SORRY TO HEAR OF THE PASSING OF UNCLE BALLARD. HIS VISITS WILL BE MISSED. HE WAS ONE OF THE BEST. WILL NEVER FORGET WHEN HURRICANE CHARLEY WENT THRU HERE AND TORE THINGS UP. UNCLE BALLARD WAS HERE THE NEXT MORNING WANTING TO HELP US EVEN THO HE COULD ONLY GO A FEW STEPS AT THAT TIME WITHOUT STOPPING TO REST. LOVE YOU ALL. EUGENE AND DIANNE HORNE
Shirley, Gale, DeDe and Family, I'm so sorry about sweet little Uncle Ballard.
Can you imagine his reunion in heaven with all his relatives that have gone
on before him ? I can just hear his laughter and see his sweet smile.
No one loved family like the Salyers family. My Daddy and I were talking
about the time we came down to see him and Eugene. I'm so glad we had
that time together, although Uncle Ballard just about ran Ann and myself
ragged. He would not let us stop. He just kept taking us places and
showing us things. We had such a good time with him.
What a blessing that was. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
I love you all.
Shirley, I am so glad my Uncle Ballard had you. He was so happy when
he married you. Thank you for giving him that joy.
