Mrs. Azilda Rita Plante's Obituary
Azilda R. Plante, 82, of Pinellas Park, Florida died June 30, 2014, after a short illness at Suncoast Hospice, Pinellas Park, Florida, with family at her side. Azilda was born in St. Leonard, New Brunswick, Canada on March 13, 1932, where she lived with her mother, Agnes Violette and father, Onsime Violette and eleven brothers and sisters. After her father's passing, they moved to Van Buren, Maine. There she completed her education. Azilda moved to Hartford, CT and met her husband, Louis Bert Plante and raised their two children in Windsor Locks, CT. Azilda and Bert moved to Pinellas Park in 1980. After Azilda's retirement she loved to spend time with her little "puppy" and make jig saw puzzles and do cross word puzzles and word search to keep her mind strong. She enjoyed crafts such as needle point and crochet and talking on the phone to her family. She is survived by her three sisters and her two children, Kenneth Plante of Windsor Locks, CT and Dianne Redstone of Leominster, MA. She leaves behind her five Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband and US Navy Veteran, Louis Bert Plante. Azilda will be buried alongside her husband at Bay Pines National Cemetery in St. Petersburg on July 16th, 2014.
