Avery Wallace Whiteman's Obituary
WHITEMAN, Avery W. 'Dave', age 90, of St Petersburg, formerly of Fort Mitchell, KY died Monday, January 1, 2007 at Alahambra Nursing & Rehab in St. Petersburg. He was born in Russiaville, Indiana and became a permanent resident 30 years ago from Fort Mitchell, KY after being a seasonal resident for 10 years. He moved to Fort Mitchell from Chicago, IL. He was an Army Veteran of WWII as a Staff Sergeant. He enjoyed motorcycles, cars, & all sports. He worked for Merit Mufflers & Pipes for 20 years as a Regional Sales Manager. He was a lifelong member of the Scottish Rite. He was also a member of the Masons. He is survived by his daughters, Gloria Jean Thomas, Barbara Ann Whiteman and Sandra Gail Spencer, all of St. Petersburg; his sister, Patricia Colling, of Dayton, OH; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
