Arlene Joan STEWART-HAMBURGER's Obituary
STEWART-HAMBURGER,
Arlene Joan of Mainland’s Unit 3, died on Monday, Feb.
23, 2015, after a courageous
battle with cancer. She was born in Rochester, NY on Dec. 13, 1932. Her parents, both whom predeceased her, were Janet and Chester Wandaw-itz. Arlene moved to Florida in 1950. She leaves behind her husband, Edmund; two daughters, Laura Purinton of Denver, CO and Valerie Crut-tenden of Punta Gorda; and five grandchildren, one of whom is the son of Arlene’s predeceased son, Steve. Ar-lene lived a full and fulfilling life, starting as a New York and then local fashion model, and then having been a LPN, having worked in the Pinellas County Tax Assessor’s of-fice, having been the office manager for the ENT physi-cian, and last but not least, having been an esthetician, owner of Natura Beauty Cen-ter and Day Spa. Arlene was one of the foremost skin care specialists in the Southeast. She attended and gave many seminars and demonstrations relating to her practice. Ar-lene helped many women in all facets of beauty and fash-ion for 30 years prior to her retirement in 2009. Arlene was an elegant woman, loved by all that knew her. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 2 pm with a reception to follow at:
