Arcadia E. Braun's Obituary
Arcadia "Katye" Sullivan Braun, 98, passed away on April 4, 2023. Katye was born on July 22, 1924 in Taylor County, FL to Tom and Allie Sullivan. She was preceded in death by her husband John "Jack" A. Braun Jr., Sgt. US Army, World War II; her parents; four brothers: Joseph, Anderson, Hal and Kenneth; and three sisters: Rhoda, Maria and Ottis. She is survived by her daughter, Dianna Whitehead (Buddy), three grandchildren: Janet Hughes (Rick), Cheryl Anderson (Scott) and Curtis Whitehead (Michelle; eight great-grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren, plus many nieces and nephews. She was a life long homemaker who loved taking care of her family. She and Jack enjoyed camping, rock collecting, and traveling to every US State and Europe. She loved unconditionally and was always happy to see you. Katye dearly loved all her family and her family dearly loved her.
