Annette and I grew up together in Michigan. We listened to Prince, Michael Jackson and all the other great 80's music on her boombox laying on her waterbed. We shared a snickers bar and coke almost every day on the bus ride to school. She was there the 1st time I kissed a boy. We roller skated together every weekend and laughed until we couldn't breathe. We only lived 1 1/2 mile apart but we still met half way on our bikes or walking because it meant we could start enjoying each other sooner. We helped each other with our chores so we could laugh and talk while we worked. Annette made everything more fun! After she moved to Florida with her mom, it was much tougher for us to keep in touch. But threw the years we always seemed to find each other again. I moved away in the Air Force but Annette reconnected with me by writing letters to my old address which my mother saved for me. She and I had the pleasure to catch up with each other again the year before her death. We emailed about her wedding plans, her work, her hope to start a family. She sent me the photos of her wedding; she was a gorgeous bride! She told me how very happy she was in her email to me in April 2007. I wish I could have made a trip to FL to see her... Rest in peace my sweet childhood / adult friend. I'll see you again someday and we'll pick up right where we left off. All my love Annette! 'Love Ya Like a Sis' May comfort and peace surround all who knew Annette as we all have a beautiful angel in heaven looking down on us. I'm very sorry for your loss Brandon and I'm sorry we never met. I heard so much about you in emails and phone calls over the years. I'm also very sorry that I didn't learn of Annette's passing sooner. The last email I received from her was in Dec 2007. I have looked for her several times over the past 2 years. I had no idea of the great loss. :( I still wish it weren't so...
