Ann S. Fleetwood's Obituary
Ann Fleetwood passed peacefully to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, April 25, 2020. She was born in Fall River, Massachusetts on May 15, 1935, the daughter of Manuel and Virginia (Coelho) Souza. Annie, as she was known to friends and family, retired as the manager of the domestics department at Dillards Tyrone Square and worked part time in the family business American International Electronics. She and her husband of 62 years, Ken, moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1978. Annie was a 25 year member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, Tahuti Court #44, and performed with both the dancing Lollipop Patrol and Egyptian Unit. She was the gentlest of souls, strong willed throughout life and had a hilarious sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Manuel “Sonny” Coelho and sister Estelle “Cookie” Darlington.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Kenneth L. Fleetwood, daughter Kelly Ann (Raymond) Torres, son Kenneth J. Fleetwood, and sister Marilyn “Meryl” Whitfield. She is also survived by her brothers in-law Paul “Bob” Fleetwood and Jimmy Fleetwood and her sister in-law Jenny Starkey, her nieces & their spouses Debra (Bill) Newton, Donna (Alan) Doige, Marilyn (Joe) Kurman, Roxanne (Jim) Lewis, Tandy Fleetwood, Laurie (Kent) Harding, Becky (Derrill) Martin, Sandra (Alan) LaBarge, Stacy Starkey and her nephews & their spouses George (Kathy) Whitfield, Thomas (Peggy) Darlington, Michael (Debby) Fleetwood, Terry (Kathy) Fleetwood and Joe (Kathy) Fleetwood.
