Anita Marie Knight's Obituary
Knight, Anita Marie, 79, of St. Petersburg, passed away January 9, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Tampa, the daughter of Al and Charlotte Klein. She was a founding member of Peninsula and Suncoast Archeological Societies. Anita retired from GTE. She was an amazing artist and very politically active and well known at St. Petersburg City Hall. Anita was instrumental in bringing about Weedon Island Preserve and Museum. She also owned Anita's Heirloom Point Neige Mandella Rugs. Anita is survived by brother George C. Glasser; son Thomas Daniel Weismann and wife Beverlee; son Ross Raymond "Charlie" Trow and wife Dorothy; grandchildren Shawn, Adam, Brandi and Thomas; great-grandchildren Josh, Jordan, Serenity, and Clinton. Services will be private for family.
