Angela Jean Vick's Obituary
Angela Jean Vick, 63, born on November 13, 1953, went home to be with her Lord Jesus on Monday, September 4, 2017. She was born in Lexington, Kentucky and graduated from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. Angela loved Jesus and was an active member of BridgePoint Church-Tyrone Campus, serving when and where she could. She, along with her husband, Dale, were avid backpackers, hikers, adventurers and travelers. They both enjoyed donating their time by volunteering at Ronald McDonald House once a month. She also enjoyed running, was a musician and loved music. Angela had one goal in her life and that was to be a loving wife and mother, both of which she achieved and loved every minute of it. She was a “World Class Optimist”. Angela was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Gibson. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Dale E. Vick; her daughters Stacy A. Vick, Sara L. LaFave and her husband Daniel, and Autumn M. Vick and her husband Josh Bruce. Angela was also blessed with 10 grandchildren: Paige and Tabitha Foster, Tyler and Hannah LaFave, Aiden, Alistair and Ian Barrie, Abigail, Ava, and Adelyne Bruce. Also surviving is her father Charles D. Gibson; brother Mark Gibson and his wife Colleen Coughenour, nieces Emily and Olivia Gibson and a large extended family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House-St. Petersburg, FL.
