Angela "Dianne" Hagen's Obituary
Angela “Dianne” Hagen, 63 years old, passed away on December 24, 2021 with her loving husband Dave Hagen by her side. Their marriage of 41 years abruptly ended after news of an invasive and incurable liver cancer.
Dianne is formerly from Louisville, KY where she was born and raised. She is survived by her husband Dave Hagen, daughter Suzi Vogel, her husband Jeremy, and her granddaughter Annabel Lee Vogel; her brother James Bailey, and his son Rick Bailey and wife Kim and their two children. Many cousins and loved ones in Campbellsville, KY as well.
Family didn’t mean only blood for Dianne though, as many were able to call her family through the loving connection she shared with so many. Wether it be work, friends, or “bonus” family that she pulled under her wings. She lived her life for her grandbaby and loved to volunteer her time at her school Northside Christian. She and Dave also shared a love so complete and true, they were best friends.
She lived her life with compassion, courage, resilience and gratitude. She was a servant leader to the max, and she taught us all so much about making the most of every day, and truly living life and sharing your joy with others. Her positive energy would light up the room and lift people up no matter their mood or the challenges they faced. She set the example for all of us. No matter the challenges in front of her, she faced them and overcame them with grace and perseverance.
Her strength and determination will always stand out to us. No matter the day or time, if anyone needed a Dianne chat, she made time to listen and be available for all of her friends and family. She loved everyone, and made sure to always let them know.
She made it a point to inspire others by showing them how amazing they are. By lifting them up to see their greatness and value. She changed and improved so many lives.
While all of her friends and family will miss her beautiful smile, her quick wit, and her overflowing love and hugs, she will shine her beautiful light in her next journey, and she will continue to inspire and lift the spirits of everyone she meets.
Thankfully this next journey she will be free of all physical limitations and pain. While saying so long for now hurts our hearts, We are grateful that she can live her next journey with ease and serenity.
May your light and love shine in your granddaughter’s face for all of us to see for a lifetime to come. ♥️ 🦋
