Amy H. Delauder's Obituary
DeLauder, Amy H., 94, a resident of St. Petersburg since 1947, departed this life on Wednesday March 19, 2008. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 67 years, Clarence M. DeLauder. She is survived by a son, Larry M. DeLauder and his wife Reba of St. Petersburg, a daughter, Janet D. Bruning and her husband Ken of Greenville, SC, and daughter Sharon A. Dufford of Murphy, NC. Mrs. DeLauder leaves six grandchildren ' Michael DeLauder of Acworth, GA, Amy Rebecca DeLauder-Dominguez of St. Petersburg, Karen B. Hipp and Susan Cali-Quigley of Greenville, SC, Christie Dufford Paige and Vincent Dufford of Murphy, NC, and nine great grandchildren. In addition, she leaves her dear friend and neighbor Jo Ann Shafer. Mrs. DeLauder was an active member of Allendale United Methodist Church for more than fifty years. She was also a member of the Trianon Woman's Club. The end of her life was spent in the care of the loving and compassionate staff at Consulate Health Care. A memorial service will be held at Allendale United Methodist Church ' 3803 Haines Road N. St. Petersburg, FL 33703 - on Tuesday March 25, 2008 at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that friends dedicate their next act of kindness to Amy DeLauder's memory. That would be a fitting tribute to the life of a woman who bestowed loving kindness on everyone she knew.
