Amelia Rivieccio's Obituary
Rivieccio, Amelia “Nonna”, 88, of St. Petersburg, passed away on Mother’s Day, May 13th, 2018 while under the care of Hospice. Nonna was born on May 14, 1929 in Ponza, Italy and moved to the United States in 1969. She was a widow to Silverio Rivieccio and predeceased by her son Anneilo. She is survived by her four sons: Bruno, Pompeo, Frank and Lorenzo. She has 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Nonna was an amazing woman. She has touched so many hearts. Amelia was a stay at home mom. She loved to cook and would always cook for an army. No one went hungry. Her house always smelled like food. She enjoyed spending time with family and always lit up when the babies came to see her. Family, friends and others whose lives Amelia touched are invited to celebrate her life at Memorial Park Funeral Home at 5750 49th Street North on Friday, May 25th , visitation from 6pm to 8pm and funeral on Saturday, May 26th at 11am.
