Amanda Victoria Kowal's Obituary
Amanda Kowal, born December 17th 1983 in Sparwood, BC, Canada to Eugene Kowal and Valda Henderson Kowal. She was known to her family as Cubby, but for her husband, she will always be known as Mander Panda Bear. Amanda's family moved to Irving, Texas, in her early life and, her father Eugene Kowal passed away at a young age. Valda remarried Russell New aka Pop who she really adored. Amanda married the love of her life, Steven Phillips, February 25th, 2017. She and Steve moved to their long time dream state of Florida in Treasure Island where they eventually bought a home in St Petersburg Florida. Amanda passed away on Sunday November 28th. She is survived by her husband, Steven Phillips; her parents Valda and Russell New; her sister Ashley and Bennie Boysen, brother Austen Kowal, brother Adam and Sarah Kowal, and brother Joe and Amanda Danielle Kowal. Her in-law’s Mother and Father Karen and Roy Phillips, sister in-law Lorie and Marty Skinner, and brother in-law Cory and Becky Phillips as well as all the nieces and nephews. She will always be remember as a kind, thoughtful, fun loving, and amazing person who will always be loved and have a special place in all our hearts my Mander Panda Bear.
