Mrs. Alma M. Held's Obituary
Our loving mother Alma M. Held sadly passed away peacefully on Monday January 11th. She was our best friend mentor & confident throughout our lives.
She was the loving wife of Fred Held, former Mayor of South Pasadena & like he, she was passionately involved in many civic programs & charitable organizations. Aside from city functions, she was involved in activities with Holy Name Catholic Church, as she unselfishly involved herself in all needs & aspects of caring for folks that were less afforded in life.
Mom was also the luckiest bingo player we have ever witnessed & she would donate a portion of her winnings to the needy.
On behalf of her children, Wayne Theresa & Eddie, there is nothing that can replace her, she was & is irreplaceable.
Again, our mom was our best friend. How can one replace their mom……..this is simply Not possible. Her passing has left a giant void in our lives that will forever remain a great and personal loss. We love & miss you mom, but take comfort in knowing your children, grandchildren & their children are also your greatest admirers.
Love-n-kisses from Wayne, Theresa, Eddie, Tammy, Jackie, Natalie, Theresa, Angie, Nick, Candi, Dorothy, Karen, David & all of their children.
There will be a Celebration of Life service @ Memorial Park Funeral Home located at 5750 49th. Street North, on Saturday February 6th. @ 11:00 am. If wishing to attend, please call 727.343.3420.
