Mr. Alistair T Bruce's Obituary
Bruce, Alistair T., 73, of St. Petersburg, passed on Oct. 29, 2015. He was born April 17, 1942 in Aberdeen, Scotland. He moved to Potomac, MD, when he was 10 and moved to St. Petersburg in 1954. He served four-and-a-half years in the USMC, he worked on the 2nd fleet Flag Ship and served with Vice Admiral A.G. Ward. Al was a successful Owner and Operator of his Electrical business, Alistair Bruce Electric, Inc., for 38 years – with the help of his lovely wife, Lynn. He would like to thank all his customers for being faithful over the years – most of them became his “friends”. Al was a very loving and caring person. Survivors include his wife of 48 years Lynn; two sons Robb Bruce (Marc), Salt Lake City, UT and Dave Bruce (Maryann); his “favorite” grandson Jackson, Palmyra, PA and one brother Jim (Sue), St. Petersburg. Al requested no viewing or memorial service: he wanted to be remembered as he was when alive. We will love and miss you every day. A private family celebration will be held at a later date.
