Alice Tipton Cleveland, a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many, passed away on June 27, 2023, at the age of 74. Born on May 21, 1949, in St. Petersburg, Florida, she was the beloved daughter of Dallas Martin Tipton and Betty Jane Tipton, both of whom preceded her in death. Alice was also preceded in death by her loving husband, James “Honey” Cleveland, in 2020.
Alice is survived by her precious companion, her dog Leo, who held a special place in her heart and provided her with unwavering companionship. Additionally, she is survived by her sons, Bryan Cleveland with significate other Bert, and David Cleveland with wife Jennifer, and her cherished grandchildren, Nathaniel, Ashton, Tristian, Ava, and Clayton. She is also survived by her siblings, Audrey Growe and Ida Park, along with her adoring nieces and nephews, Jaime, Lindsey, Kali, Rodney, and Wesley. She shared a particularly close bond with all of them, cherishing their unique connection.
Additionally, she is survived by her devoted partner, Art, who brought immense happiness to her life for the past 1.5 years.
Alice's life was filled with accomplishments and a passion for various endeavors. She graduated from Dixie Hollins High School and worked as a cosmetologist for a short period and later found her true calling from her work as a TV personality, with notable appearances on QVC and the Home Shopping Network. Her charismatic personality and gift of gab endeared her to countless viewers. She established her own successful company, dealing with beauty products, where she showcased her entrepreneurial spirit. She also managed to be successful in the world of real estate.
Alice's profession as a TV personality often took her on exciting adventures. When she wasn’t travelling for work, she travelled the world for pleasure, exploring different countries and embarking on various cruises throughout the seas. Everywhere she went, she effortlessly made friends with her genuine people skills and warm heart. Despite her extraordinary ability to forge new connections, Alice held her family closest to her heart.
Alice was not only known for her magnetic personality but also for her timeless beauty. Not a single wrinkle appeared on her face, and her fashion choices were always bold and beautiful. Her perfectly styled hair and flawlessly applied makeup were a testament to her meticulous attention to detail.
In addition to her love for animals, Alice had a unique affinity for raccoons. She ultimately raised four raccoons as her own babies, and she devoted herself to their care and well-being.
Alice was a determined learner, though she rarely admitted that there was nothing that was not her forte. However, Alice's unwavering determination and willingness to try new things were truly commendable, and her enthusiasm overall was matched only by her boundless spirit.
Above all, Alice will be remembered as an incredibly loving, giving, kind, and strong woman. She had a genuine knack for making everyone she encountered feel like a friend, and her compassionate nature endeared her to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
