Alexander Daniel Curry's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alex Curry on October 8, 2024, in St. Petersburg, Florida, at the age of 65. Born in Augsburg, Germany, on October 21, 1958, Alex was the son of Norris Curry and Juliana Cecilia Curry.
Alex dedicated decades of his life to serving his country in law enforcement, where he earned the admiration and respect of many. In his retirement, which spanned approximately the last 12 years, Alex embraced his love for travel, enjoying life's simple pleasures with his beloved wife-camping, grilling, bonfires, and walking on the beach.
Diagnosed with cancer a year ago, Alex fought valiantly, but despite winning his battle against cancer, pneumonia during his final treatment claimed his life. Alex was adored by all who knew him, and his absence will be profoundly felt.
Alex leaves behind his loving wife, Catherine Terzian, his stepson Joseph Marino, and their extended family. He is also survived by his children, Kristen Foss, Deanna Curry, and Ryan Curry, and their extended family. His spirit for life, strength, and love will forever remain in our hearts.
A gathering will be held on Saturday, November, 2, 2024 at 11:30am with a memorial service to follow at 12:30pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
