Jones, Albert Edward's Obituary
Albert Edward Jones, age 93, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 20 after a long and fulfilling life. He was born in Chicago, IL on June 9, 1931 to Durward and Virginia Jones and moved to Florida in 1992 with his second wife and their two children.
He was married twice, first to Charlotte Monroe and then to Kathleen Jones, and spent his last years as a companion to Diane Gaete.
He is survived by his children, Debbie Jones, Noreen Schuetz, Donald Jones, Jamey Jones, and Jennifer Richardson, grandchildren Shan Townsend, Candace and Jason Jones, Caetano Peralta and Mateo Medina, and Douglas Richardson IV.
He enjoyed a long and successful career as a general contractor, but if you asked him what he did for a living, he would tell you he was a damn good carpenter. And he was. He worked hard while always making time for friends and family. And he loved to sing and listen to music.
Burial service for family to be held at Garden Sanctuary Cemetery in Seminole FL, where he will be buried next to his parents. Memorial Service to be held at Sun Valley Community Center in Tarpon Springs, FL.
Donations to Suncoast Hospice in his name are welcome.
