Albert L. Bonfe Jr.'s Obituary
Albert Bonfe was a family man, one-of-a-kind. Born in Syracuse NY, on July 26, 1933. It was here he met his soulmate, Barbara, at Syracuse University. He was playing football and he broke his nose and fell in love with Barbara who was his nurse. They got married at Hendricks chapel and continued to travel the country. Albert was a very influential educator who taught for over 30 years and was part of the presidential committee. He also was instrumental in starting the special Olympics. He was drafted in the Army, and he and Barbara moved to Atlanta Ga., where they started their loving family with their son Robert. They moved back to Syracuse, then to Long Island where they had their two daughters Michelle, and Marcie. He moved with Barbara to their condo on the beach in St. Petersburg and continued to make cherished memories with friends and loved ones including his brother Sam and his wife Harriett.
He loved his family very much. He is survived by his brother Greg and Sister-in-Law Suzanne. As well as, his children, Robert, Michelle, and Marcie. His Daughter-in-Law Vanessa, Son-in-Law Brian, grandchildren Bobby, Stephanie, Daniella, Briana and great grandchildren Michael Angelo and Giovanni Vincenzo. He played a major part in everyones lives and preached the importance of family. He was loved by all and will be dearly missed. May he Rest In Peace with Barbara in heaven.
