Adamantios Anthony Tsakos' Obituary
Adamantios Anthony "Diamond" Tsakos, aged 72, passed away on December 6, 2025, in St. Petersburg, Florida. Born on June 18, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan, Diamond was a man who embraced life with vigor and joy. He spent his days riding around town on his scooter, a pastime he greatly enjoyed. Diamond was also a skilled craftsman, known for his ability to fix and build various things, including a cherished wishing well.
Diamond had a fondness for the excitement of the casino and cherished his moments at Khristina's Cafe. His greatest joy, however, came from watching his great-grandchildren play on the porch, and he maintained a close daily connection with his daughter through heartfelt phone conversations.
He is survived by his loving wife, Terri Harris; son, Adam Harris; daughter, Irene Tsakos; granddaughters, Savannah and Cheyanne Harris; great-granddaughters, Layonna and Daniylah; and great-grandson, Zyaire. Diamond also leaves behind his brother, George Tsakos, and his sister, Theodore and Pete Grais, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony Tsakos and Irene Ladis.
A graveside service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery at 9:00 a.m. to honor and celebrate Diamond's life. The arrangements are being handled by Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery located in St. Petersburg, Florida. Diamond will be remembered for his vibrant spirit and the deep love he had for his family and friends.
