Ada M. Nickel's Obituary
Nickel, Ada, 95 of St. Petersburg passed away Sept. 1, 2008 at her home under the care of Hospice. She was born in West Virginia in May 13, 1913 and moved to St. Petersburg, FL in 1973 from St. Helena, CA, located in the heart of the Napa Valley, where she and her husband owned and operated a clothing store. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl S. Nickel. Ada was an active member of North Side Baptist Church where in 1997 she and her husband received the Al Jackson Memorial Reward for Outstanding Service. Ada and Earl set up and opened a clothing ministry for missionaries at D & D Missionary Homes on 58th Avenue. They served there 18 ' years. Ada is survived by three sons; Ronald (Judy), Gary (Dona) and Larry Nickel; five grandchildren, Nancy Mackenroth (Noah), Mark (Sherry), Michael (Susan), Brian, and Kevin (Kathy) Nickel, ten great grandchildren and two great, great grandsons.
