I actually met Frank & his family in 1955 in North Haven, CT...we had just moved into town & his father & brothers helped landscape our new property.
Going to school with all the Novarro family was so much fun, dances, parties & just hanging out...….Frank was like our guardian as he was the oldest...……….
I am sad but all the good memories remain <3
It was always fun to work with Frank. That man had some stories! I enjoyed hearing about the places he'd been and the folks he'd met over the years here in St. Petersburg. While we worked together for a little over a year, Frank helped to bring a little humor and conviviality to funeral services. I've included a few pics from a funeral ceremony we worked on together back in November 2015, where the family asked for everyone to wear a scarf in their loved ones memory, including her dog, Petunia. While he was not yet scarfed in these pics, he did don a scarf to celebrate with the family. Frank, Al, and myself made a great team that night and many other days/nights we worked together. I would like to express my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Frank.
We were very saddened by his passing. As a colleague of Frank, he will be dearly missed. I only worked with him for a short time but he was so genuine and open that
it didn't take long to get to know him. Always impeccably dressed, I use to tell him
that he was "styling", especially with his tasseled loafers. And that smile, always with
that smile.
He always asked about my family and took genuine interest in them. He always stunned me with his expertise with the floral arrangements and even though most of them were
beautiful, he always had another touch that could make them better. And his "sweet tooth", how he loved his desserts. Just thinking about the times we shared at work makes me smile.
