I had the pleasure of meeting Richard through his son Barry. From the first time I met him I knew what a great man he was. Every time I came over I was greeted with a warm hug and a wonderful smile. He was one of the dearest people I ever met. My heart goes out to his wonderful family he left behind. He will be truly missed. I know I will never forget you Richard.

We are so sorry for your loss. Cherish the memories that you had together. Our sincere sympathies to your family. May he rest in peace.
My wife Beth and I were shocked and saddened when we got word Richard had passed away. Richard was like a father to me, and I enjoyed every minute I got to spend with him. I will always remember the good times because there were lots of them. His smile has already made Heaven a brighter place. God Bless you Richard.
I never had the honor and the pleasure of meeting you, but I have heard many a great story from your beloved grandchild and my best friend Leah Anderson. My deepest and most sincere apologies go out to Leah, Barry, Ricky, and the rest of the family for the loss of a man who will forever be cherished, missed by many, and always be in the hearts of those who loved him. Rest in peace Pap.
Our condolences to all of the Grimsley family. Richard was a great guy and I was proud to have known and worked with him for many years at Albertsons. He will be missed.
