I want you to know that the words that I have for you. Cannot compare To the feelings that I have. You absolutely changed my life. I met You at a time In my life.
Who would ever thought? You are bigger than life to me. Everything thing that surrounded you. You're the closest thing to a real dad forme I've ever known. I cannot stop the tears rolling down my face knowing that we can't do breakfast anymore lol.... I was a kid from Georgia that u owed nothing . But u decided different .when I lost u Jay after losing my mom it killed me . Literally. But u wouldn't wanted me to give up. I miss u Broda . I hope u know I'm down here trying to change people's life like u changed mine . I'm forever grateful 🙏 for u big guy . Kiss my momma up there .I know she she couldn't wait to say thank-you. Dear Royce and Alvin,

Jay was big and Jay was loud. But he had a warm heart. He deeply loved his family, especially his son, Alvin.
He was a terrific photographer, and he generously spent a lot of time with me when I was younger, teaching me how to use an SLR camera and how to take meaningful photos. He instilled in me a love for the art, even though I didn’t really learn it very well. Thanks, Jay!

I have such a vivid memory of my cousin, Jay. My brother and Jay’s sister Royce were outside under our Grandma’s orange tree. Big Jay took each of us, in turn, by both hands, and he spun around and around. We would fly around too, with our legs sticking out behind us. It was so much fun that we kept asking Jay to do it again until even he was tuckered out!

Jay was an awesome and unique individual who loved his family and was incredibly proud of and devoted to his son. Alvin was truly the light of his life. Behind a sometimes gruff exterior lay a kind soul with a heart of gold. He was always ready to lend a helping hand and be there to offer support. Jay will be missed and remembered fondly.
