RIP George, you were a man of many talents and such a good husband to Bea, I remember you telling us about one month before you met her you were feeling lonely and asked, " Is this all there is God, is this all there is to life?". George was not only my Father-in-law, but also a friend. It was an honour and pleasure knowing him, being with him, taking flying & going shooting & fishing. Lots of great memories...not least the day we boarded Concord in Scotland and George got into the flight deck - as a pilot he loved that! Going to miss our times together - but will treasure the times we had and all the memories.
Georgie Escopeta as I knew him, was one the most memorable characters in my childhood. I learned skeet and trap shooting with Georgie, I flew in his plane many times and enjoyed being his roommate when he cam over to our house. Georgie was one of my Dad's truest friends as he was always there...in the good and in the bad times...Georgie and Bea were by my Dad's side during his battle with Cancer and his friendship will never be forgotten. May you rest in peace Georgie!!! We love you!!!
