Alice Emerich Sweet, 85, went to be with her Lord on April 7, 2021, at home in St. Petersburg. She was loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Alice's life was characterized by her faithfulness to her husband, Read Obituary
During the time that Ed and Alice lived in
Vermont, they and we attended Calvary Bible Church. From time to time Ed and Alice would sing a duet. It was always a blessing and inspiration to us! A couple of years ago, Alice came to Vermont to visit her daughter Deborah who is our very dear friend and prayer partner! During Alice's visit, we enjoyed a very pleasant visit over tea! Alice shared with us her commitment to making things to put in Christmas boxes to be distributed to children all over the world by Samaritan's Purse ministry. She also shared how she writes notes of encouragement to many people! Her desire to continue to serve the Lord inspires us to keep serving! Her zeal was so evident and it gave us renewed hope that we too can be of service to our Savior no matter our age! Alice is such a dear servant! Great is her reward!!!
Alice was a beautiful lady and the Esther SS class at Legacy Clhurch will miss her so very much, We know she is in Heaven today.

Mrs. Sweet spent lots of time in her car taking her girls and all of us, their friends, here and there, always with a smile and never begrudgingly. I remember telling her I was sure she would get a golden steering wheel in Heaven one day.
